Akoya pearls are the bride – a perfect shade of pearl wedding
For the bride who is a perfectionist, white pearls are not just white. There are many subtle color variations of the highest quality saltwater pearls. Demystify the terms of trade, use your jeweler so you get the perfect shade of color for your bridal pearl jewelry.
Akoya pearls are color
Pearl color is not as easy to define, as well as other color stones. Pearls look different, depending on the lighting and background are presented. Assuming you’ve already decided, Akoya pearls because of their exceptional luster, the terms used here to describe the color, the color they come in the list of sake of clarity, and how to avoid unpleasant surprises in the proposals for different lighting for jewelry store.

Overtone can be made from these colors more than one. Pink and blue combination overtones a bit pink seems to be highly valued. Up to three references may be combined on the same gem.
Overtone pearl depends on the thickness and the location and size of aragonite plates, which consists of layers of nacre. It can not be artificially reproduced. Landmark, which is like a rainbow iridescence, Akoya cultured pearls are rare, being found in more natural forms of baroque pearls and cultured pearls.
Color Changes
Pearls seem to change color when a different color or surface view under different lighting. Natural daylight is the best light to see what color the pearl really is. Direct sunlight is not advised to look at the pearls, but stood by the window on a cloudy day should show the true color of pearls and features. However, as the light will vary depending on the latitude and time of day, usually with artificial white light commonly used. For best results, neutral white light with a light color of 4700 Kelvin to 5000 is preferable.
Pearls should always be viewed on a white background to see the subtle color differences. Even fingerprints can change the color of the perceived slight, the pearl should be clean before choosing the color you want to meet.
For wedding pearls, the bride might want to consider where the lighting ceremony and reception will be held to review under these lighting conditions, pearls before making your final choice.
Having said all that, if you just can not get the jewelry that is large Akoya pearls in stock to choose the wedding jewelry of pearls to ask a very high gloss white and neutral colors. You can often indicate their choice of overtones, such as ivory, rose, or silver. Tank mates should be chosen to able to handle this aggression. They do well with barbs, loaches, large tetras, and semi-aggressive cichlids. |
