How to Mix and Match White Gold Earrings
When you want to wear earrings, you should match the color of your earrings with the color of your skin, your hair, your accessories, and your outfit. White gold earrings can match with any color. So if you want to have earrings that can be used at any time with any outfit and style, white gold earrings are the answer. But one thing to remember, don’t mix your yellow gold necklace or your yellow gold bracelets with white gold earrings because it looks so contrast and it won’t match, unless your earrings or your necklace is a two tone color (yellow gold and white gold mixed together).
Besides the color, you should consider the shape of your earrings. You have to match the white gold earrings shape with your face (because it’s a lot easier than match your face shape with the earrings shape ). Generally there are four shapes of face.
Round Faces. If you have a round face, you should look for long white gold earrings. Longer earrings can lengthen your face. You should avoid round shapes earrings, because it will make your face looks rounder.
Square Faces. If you have a square face, you should look for white gold earrings that have rounder shapes, because it will soften your “sharp edges”.
Pixie Faces / Heart Shaped Faces. Stud earrings are good for pixie faces. If you wear long white earrings, it can make your jaw looks too pointed.
Oval Faces. If you have an oval face, you can use almost any type and shapes of white gold earrings. Just mix and match with your outfit.
But you must remember, this is just theory, if you like the earrings, even though it’s not suits your faces shape, there are no laws that forbid you to wear that earrings. Perhaps you will hear some critics, but you use jewelry to makes yourself better, not others. If you persistent with your own style, who knows you can be a trend setter.
