How can I tell if this pearl website is a fake?
I really want a pearl necklace for my birthday, but I really don’t know how much pearls cost. My mom told me she has a pair of pearl earrings that she paid $200 for, so shouldn’t that mean that a necklace would be at least $1000? Anyways, this website is promising pearls for much cheaper than retail price, and at first I didn’t think anything of it, but then I saw a golden pearl necklace for $39,900, and they said the retail price was $229,000, and if this were true, wouldn’t they go bankrupt?

It’s funny that I came upon this answer because my dad actually used this website for my mom last year and got her pearl earrings/studs. If you look at the bottom of the website, it says that it is Verified Approved, meaning that the owner is real and so is his/her company. You can only use PayPal in this website. What that means is that you pay through PayPal and PP keeps your credit number/information so The Pearl Source never gets your credit card #, or information, they simply receive the money from PayPal.
