Hieroglyphics On old Scarab Beetle Necklace???? help!!?
a neighbor of mine was given an Egyptian scarab beetle necklace some time ago by a friend. She showed it to me asking if i could research the meaning of the hieroglyphics on the back of it. I know what the beetle resembles and stands for but the writing on the back….I cant make any sense of. there are 4 vertical rows of hieroglyphics. Since some of the writing uses more than just the 24 hieroglyphs i think that it may not be spelling anything but may actually be a small saying? i could be wrong….i do not know how old this necklace is but its pretty worn…like the way really old quarters look…….anyway is anyone familiar or have any helpful suggestions?
