POLL: Are you too proud of your nationality?
Britain seems to have this thing about keeping their nationality defined. Everyone I’ve talked to hates the BMP party, but still feels that with all these other cultures coming in we’re losing our identity as a nation.
What are your thoughts on this?
Personally, I quite like the idea of having a very mixed and cultured country. I live in a very sheltered part of England and I would love to see a more diverse set of races walking down the high street, because all you see round here are white people who were born and bred in this county. I wouldn’t mind if some of them didn’t speak our language immediately, because it would catch on. Obviously I do think there’s got to be a limit, as we have quite a large population for such a small island, buts till… I think that a multicultural society would be great.

Come to London, see all the different races here. Play the game spot a whitey, it will take you a while but eventually you’ll find one. And that right there is the point, this is London, England and WE are a minority in our own capital city. Now I have no problem if they want to come here for work and they do but it’s the ones who don’t are the problem.
I don’t agree with all of the BNP’s stands but I agree about English rights for English people. Too many immigrants here refuse to intergrate and don’t even bother trying to learn English. The only words they know are “benefits” and “jobcentre”
It makes me sick when I think what is happening to my country, but that’s just it…it’s not MY country anymore….
