Rice Pearl Necklace

What is this type of pearl called?
I’m looking for the name of the pearl that is shaped kind of like a grain of rice, and a little bumpy rather than smooth and round. I have seen them in the past strung together in multiple strands to make delicate necklaces.
The shape of pearl that you are looking for is called “rice” , and from your description I think it’s freshwater pearl. Of course, this could also be a plastic bead masquerading as a freshwater pearl. The difference is easy to detect for one who knows what they are looking for. The pearl is a bit heavier, looks and feels more organic, and there is no discoloration around the drill holes.
