Looking for a lead singer from a rock band that had a hit with carlos santana?
I know there was matchbox twenty and pearl jam but the one I am thinking of had a lead singer who was blonde and looked very young had a real big voice for a young guy. I love his voice but in the mix of this song it seemed like Santana kind of had the music too loud for the guy’s voice. It’s driving me crazy because about 6 or 7 years ago when it was popular I loved it and now can’t even think of one line. I just know he sang with Carlos Santana. Actually the group had another hit which is really the song I am trying to find but don’t know how to relay it because I can’t really think of any of the lines. I mainly want to know the name of the group. Can anyone help me please please please 
I believe it was Alex Band of The Calling (they sang Wherever You Will Go).
