Can I bake fake pearl with my polymer creation?

I’m trying to make a bow that have a piece of half fake pearl on it (you know the fake pearl are decoration that you can buy at craft store)…I’m just wondering if I bake the pearl along with the polymer clay would I end up making it melt?

Yes I think it would melt or do something weird. You probably should glue the pearl on after you’ve baked the polymer clay.
