Akoya Pearls – Defining Your Personality
Akoya pearls are known as one of the most elegant pearls available in the market. These pearls are from the Akoya oyster, scientifically known as the Pinctada fucata martensii. The Akoya oysters are considered to be classic pearl-producing oyters — they have produced these pearls which became known over the world. Akoya oysters and pearls are actually grown from Japan and China and are known for their simplicity and elegance. They come in two main colors: white and cream. There are also different hues between the white and cream Akoya pearls.
