Pearl Cross Pendant

Does this seem weird to anyone?
So I usually wear this sort of gothic cross choker necklace and I’m a 4.0 student and I’ve never been sick, the worst case is a slight sneeze. A couple days ago my necklace broke and I’m ordering a new pendant but it hasn’t been deliver yet. I’m wearing a white pearl necklace right now and since the second day that my necklace broke I’ve been getting abundant amount of bad luck. I’ve been sick for a week and now I’m starting to get bad grades in school. At first I thought it was just a coincident that I have a bad day and as time pass I discover more weird things is happening to me. Anyone think this is weird other than me?
Just for the record I’m not that crazy and I’ve never been attach to the necklace, if I would I would have been crying for four weeks straight!
