The Unique and Distinctive Features of Pearl Pendants
The immense variety of pearl shapes have inspired jewelry designers for centuries. Because of the unusual shapes that pearls can form, jewelry designers use these myriad of pearl shapes to create unique pendants. Many imaginative designers interpret these freeform outlines of baroque pearls to fashion avant-garde and lavish one-of-a-kind pieces. With today’s modern pearl culturing processes, pearls are showing up on jewelry displays that boggle the mind. Double or triple nucleated sea pearls or incredible Kesi pearls, some which resemble corn flakes, are just a few of the seemingly unlimited forms pearls can take on.
Pearl Pendants have long been known for its mood effect. Each pendant, with its unique character, creates a mood such as: regal, power, sophistication, subtle, bewitching, etc. All these moods are inherent in the design of the pendant itself. The shape of the pearl also dictates the mood and design of the pendant. If a large odd-shaped pearl slightly resembles a bust of a human, then the designer can bring out that feature by enhancing the pendant design.
Sea turtles, dolphins, plumeria flowers and pineapples are just a few of our tropical designs. Twists, swirls and filigree are some of our contemporary designs that our pearls are set in. These unique pearl pendants are great for many occasions. A delicately designed wreath of plumeria flowers cast in rose-gold with a leaping dolphin and a 12 mm chocolate Tahitian pearl that dangles from the lei, is truly magnificent. We have top quality (P1) Tahitian pearls that are as brilliant and soothing as the full moon. These precious jewels are set in a flowery arabesque and set ablaze with the finest crystals. Many rosette designs are attached to our flawless pearls, making them unique and distinctive for the purchaser.
The materials that our pendants are made of are: white gold, yellow gold, rose gold and sterling silver. The mabe pearls come with their own natural settings. These pearls are formed from the shell of the mollusk, so the pearl is actually imbedded in the lustrous mother-of-pearl. These half-pearl ornaments are outstanding and truly unique and different.
A golden octopus with diamond studded eyes holds a fantastic 14.5 mm Tahitian pearl in its eight arms. These octopus pendants also holds South Sea pearls as well as Tahitian pearls of all colors. Imagine a lovely rose-gold octopus with mele-diamond eyes clutching a large shimmering Tahitian peacock colored pearl, or a yellow-gold octopus grasping a silvery- white South Sea pearl. These are truly a must-see.
