How do you get beads in your hair?
I mean like how Jade Gyllenhaal had in Prince of Persia. And if I mangaed it, would putting a feather in too be too much?
Wow I like style! Who knows this could be the next big hair trend after braiding!
My name is Vicky and I work for Herbal Essences. I am experimenting with different looks at the moment, too. I think you can achieve this look by either braiding or backcombing sections of your hair. Braiding would be less damaging. So here is how I would do it: Take a strand of your hair, braid or backcomb the top of this section for about and inch or however long you like, put the first bead in, then backcomb or braid again so that the section underneath the bead is wider than the section with bead to avoid the bead falling out. Repeat this procedure as often as you like. If you are braiding, do it quite loosely – as mentioned before the aim is to widen the section of your hair so the beads are secured. Now that you went through all that trouble, why not top it off with a feather?! You can always take it out if you look in the mirror and feel it’s too much.. I am sure your best friend would also tell you very quickly if he/she feels you look more like Prince of Persia than yourself!
