Has some of the luster worn off Barack Obama?

I just wonder because my niece who was a huge Obama supporter last year told me this weekend that she has realized that “he’s not all that great after all”. I think so many people had high hopes for him but we are still mired in 2 wars and the unemployment rate is over 10% with more who have quit looking for work. His policies just aren’t working and he hasn’t been able to keep his promises which were filled with high hopes. Do you still feel he is “all that”?
For the record, I never thought he would be a great president and I voted for McCain who at least knew the military.

I saw Barack Obama make one speech and knew what he was. I saw the mesmerized crowds, the hand gestures, heard the lies as he made promises the President of the United States has no legal authority to fulfill. As one of many who spent a lot of time before the campaign on this site warning people what was coming, who is watching her country hover on the edge of disaster, I hope your neice is devastated. I hope she has had the biggest disappointment of her life, and I hope she never gets over it. Does that answer your question?
