Where can I donate a hand knitted scarf?

I make hats for charities, usually ChemoCaps, and always have a small amount of yarn left over at the end of the skein. So I decided, instead of just putting it in a box or throwing it away, why not make scarfs out of it? They have nice stripy patterns, etc. and I want to donate them to a good charity. Problem is I can’t find one. Just somewhere that will give it to someone who needs it. I don’t care whether it’s going to a cancer patient or a homeless guy, or what country it’s going to, as long as it goes to someone who needs it. So where can I send it?
