I have 2 black snails in my fresh water fish tank…?

do i need to feed them something? there are no live plants in the aquarium, but i do have 3 fish (including a sucker fish). Do i need to feed them anything special or will they just eat what is at the bottom?

it is a 10 gallon aquarium

They will eat whatever food falls to the bottom, but it is good to supplement their diet with blanched spinach or broccoli (it helps their shells because it’s high in calcium).

EDIT: Lettuce decays slowly, and is an ESSENTIAL part of snails’ and “sucker fish’s” diets. Anybody who thinks putting a small piece of lettuce in the tank as food will kill your fish is simply incompetent.
