Angel Pendant Necklace

What is a good way to turn this into jewelry?
A friend recently gave me a guardian angel pendant with a lot of sentimental value behind it.
I’d like to keep it with me, but I don’t trust myself to not lose if. I would like to somehow make it part of a necklace, but it doesn’t have anything on it to hook a chain through.
This is basically what it looks like, without the loop or chain:

Is there a way to add a loop without damaging the pendant?
Or as another option… do you know of any creative ways I could wear this in a way that’s attached to me without damaging the actual item?

You could have it made into a pin. It would damage the back of the pendant but not the front in any way, and it would make it wearable. If you go that route, make sure to see a good jeweler about it, and have them use a good material to put the pin on it. You don’t want to skimp on that because if it’s not high-quality, the cement could loosen, and you might have the pin fall off.
